Quilt Kit – Bird Brain – 40″ X 44″ Fun Birds And Pinwheels Small Quilt – Top & Binding

This fun and happy bird quilt design uses an 18-piece fat eighth bundle, white background fabric and one coordinate for the binding. Featured fabrics are from the Clothworks’ Bird Brain collection.

FABRIC: Bird Brain was designed by Meags and Me for Clothworks and features cute little birds, florals, bird stripes, mini flowers, dot waves and geo grids in fun and bright colors.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash warm , do not bleach, tumble dry, remove promptly.

Fabrics printed in South Korea.

The overall finished size of this lap quilt as shown in picture 1 is 40″ x 44″.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Bird Brain pattern, paper templates and instructions also designed by Meags and Me along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. This kit also includes 1 yard of fusible web for your appliques along with 2 spools of Sulky 12 Wt. Cotton thread, which is 40% thicker than 30 Wt., in black and orange for embroidering the eyes and legs of the bird appliques. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Bird Brain collection designed by Meags and Me for Clothworks, and the white background fabric is American Made Brand also by Clothworks. Pictures 2 thru 8 show the pattern, fabrics, fusible web and threads included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit!

Skill Level: Confident Beginner (fusible applique and hand embroidery or bird eyes and legs)

The pattern recommends 2-1/2 yards of fabric for your backing along with a 48″ x 52″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a one way design or for pattern matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.
