Quilt Kit – Valencia Braid – 59″ X 71.75″ Bold Floral Throw Quilt – Top & Binding

Batik-like fabrics blend in into a braided design. Strip sets, rectangles and squares are all that’s needed to piece this one!

FABRIC: Rich, vibrant color, and layered textural elements of florals, dragonflies, and geometrics combine for another outstanding collection by artist Dan Morris. This QTique collection integrates the technology of digital printing with the aesthetic and traditional weave of batik with the QT soft hand finish.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold, normal cycle with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed, tumble dry medium, remove promptly, use warm iron if necessary.

Fabrics printed in Pakistan.

The overall finished size of this wall quilt as shown in picture 1 is 59″ x 71.75″ .

The kit contains the pattern/instructions designed by Sandy Boobar and Sue Harvey of Pine Tree Country Quilts along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Valencia and Rapture collections by Quilting Treasures. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the pattern and fabrics included in the kit. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner (standard machine piecing)

3-7/8 yards of fabric is recommended for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width along with a 67″ x 80″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

A little over 6-7/8 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
