Quilt Kit – Star Blast – 60″ X 70″ Wishwell Color Wheel Quilt – Top & Binding

The Star Blast pattern was designed by Elise Lea for Robert Kaufman Fabrics and features the Color Wheel collection by Wishwell for Robert Kaufman.

FABRIC: Color Wheel, designed by Vanessa Lillrose and Linda Fitch of Wishwell for Robert Kaufman, is a bold and beautiful quilt fabric collection featuring abstract prints and florals in a rainbow of bright colors with a focus on the color wheel.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold, no bleach, wash dark colors separately, tumble dry low, remove promptly.

The overall finished size of this quilt as shown in picture 1 is 60″ x 70″.

The kit contains a free color copy of the Star Blast pattern and instructions designed by Elise Lea for Robert Kaufman Fabrics along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Color Wheel designed by Vanessa Lillrose & Linda Fitch of Wishwell and Kona Solids collections by Robert Kaufman Fabrics. Pictures 2 thru 4 show the fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit! NOTE: THE PATTERN IS USING A 10″ SQUARE PACK, BUT WE DECIDED TO USE 6″ STRIPS OF EACH OF THE RAINBOW COLORS. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CUT ALL OF THE PIECES AND HAVE A LITTLE LEFT OVER IN CASE OF AN “OOPS”.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate

The pattern recommends 3-5/6 yards of fabric for your backing along with a 68″ x 78″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed for pattern matching or if using directional prints. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

A little over 7 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
