Quilt Kit – Stained Glass Cross – 39″ X 54″ Dream Big Tiles Wall Art Quilt – Top & Binding

This quilt features the “Dream Big Tiles” collection by Hoffman Fabrics. This beautiful cross was inspired by the stained glass window crosses in churches the designer visited in Italy. This pattern is recommended for advanced quilters who are familiar with foundation piecing. The pattern includes the foundation papers printed on 8-1/2″ x 11″ copy paper, but you may want to make additional copies on either freezer paper or your favorite foundation paper.

FABRIC: This spectrum digitally printed fabric is from the Dream Big Tiles collection designed by Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero for Hoffman Fabrics and features rows of 2-1/2″ square tiles depicting previous Dream Big, Dream Big Dance and Dream Big Kaleidoscope designs in (10) different colorways.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash delicate cycle, tumble dry low, do not bleach, use cool iron.

Fabrics printed in Korea.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Stained Glass Cross pattern and instructions designed by Judit Hajdu of Quilt Fox Design along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for top of the quilt and the edge binding. BACKING AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

The overall finished size of this wall quilt is about 39″ x 54″.

Pictures 3 thru 5 show the pattern and fabrics used to make the quilt and included in this kit, and pictures 6 thru 10 show larger images of some of the fabrics. Picture 5 shows the off-white Luxe texture fabric with METALLIC GOLD accents used for the background of this quilt. There are no substituted fabrics in this kit!

Skill Level: Advanced or must have experience in foundation piecing! (Paper foundation papers included in the pattern.)

The pattern recommends 2-3/4 yards of backing fabric for the quilt assuming a standard 44″ width along with an 44″ x 60″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

A little over 5 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. NOTE: FABRICS IN THIS KIT ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY ORGANIZE OR MARK THEM USING YOUR PREFERRED METHOD!
