Quilt Kit – Sophisti-Cats – 59″ X 77″ Cat Block Panel Throw Quilt – Top & Binding

This quilt features seven borders surrounding the center focus cat block panel. The third border is made using pieced Ohio Star blocks.

FABRIC: Sophisti-cats by Lesley Anne Ivory is a new 10-piece collection for Blank Quilting Co. that was inspired by William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement. This group includes a 24″ panel with blocks of different cat vignettes. The patterns include a cat collage, floral patterns, butterflies, a damask, cat portraits, cats playing with yarn, cats on chairs, and a border stripe. This beautiful cat themed collection is colored in rich blues, reds, greens and pinks. This collection is purr-fect for your next feline themed quilting project!

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold water, do not use bleach, tumble dry low, remove promptly, use cool iron if necessary.

Fabrics printed in Korea.

The kit contains a FREE copy of the Sophisti-Cats pattern/instructions designed by Denise Russell for Blank Quilting along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately. Fabric Utopia carries coordinates from the collection that can be purchased for your backing.

The overall finished size of this quilt as pictured is 59″ x 77″.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Sophisti-Cats designed by Lesley Anne Ivory and Chameleon collections by Blank Quilting. Pictures 2 thru 10 show all the fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

The pattern recommends 4-7/8 yards of fabric for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width fabric along with a 67″ x 85″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or for fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

Close to 7-3/4 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. NOTE: FABRICS IN THIS KIT ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY ORGANIZE OR MARK THEM USING YOUR PREFERRED METHOD!
