Quilt Kit – Set Sail – 51″ X 51″ Bon Voyage Sailing Theme Quilt – Top & Binding

Featuring the Bon Voyage collection of fabrics by Michael Miller Fabrics, this quilt project will be perfect for the sailor in your life. It is made with 9-1/2″ square blocks, sashing blocks, corner stones and a mitered corner outer border. Paper templates are included in the pattern for the applique sailboat blocks using your favorite applique method. Depending on your method, you may need some fusible web for the applique. You may also want to make copies of the paper templates.

FABRIC: Sail through the open seas with “Bon Voyage”. This 20 piece nautical collection showcases sailboats, seaside huts and lighthouses with a denim inspired texture.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle, non chlorine bleach if needed, tumble dry low, remove promptly, use warm iron if necessary.

The overall finished size of this throw quilt as shown in picture 1 is 51″ x 51″.

The kit contains a FREE copy of the Set Sail pattern and instructions designed by Project House 360 along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric, batting and fusible web will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Bon Voyage, Krystal and Dumb Dot collections by Michael Miller Fabrics. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the 12 different fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner (standard machine piecing, your favorite applique method and one mitered corner border)

3-1/2 yards of fabric is recommended for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width along with a 59″ x 59″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

A little over 6 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. NOTE: ALL FABRICS ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS THEY ARE LISTED ON THE PATTERN!
