Quilt Kit – San Marco – 53″ X 53″ Stonehenge Surfaces Foundation Paper Pieced Quilt – Top & Binding

Inspired by the cathedral floors of Europe, San Marco is a fabulous foundation pieced quilt pattern. There are not any curved pieces to this circular design. While not a large quilt, this is a stunning quilt! Fabrics featured are from Northcott’s Stonehenge Surfaces collection.

FABRIC: Designed by Deborah Edwards for Northcott Fabrics, Stonehenge Surfaces features marble textures in various shades of cream, rust, Prussian blue, brown and gray.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold water, tumble dry cool, do not bleach, iron on back if necessary.

Fabrics printed in Korea.

The overall finished size of this quilt as shown in picture 1 is 53″ x 53″.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the the San Marco pattern and instructions designed by Laureen Smith of Tourmaline & Thyme Quilts along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Stonehenge Surfaces collection designed by Deborah Edwards for Northcott. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the pattern and fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit! NOTE: Picture 3 and 4 show all 23 fabrics included in this kit…pictures 5 thru 10 show larger images of the most used fabrics in this kit.

Skill Level: Intermediate (foundation paper piecing).

The pattern recommends 3-1/2 yards of the coordinating 44/45″ wide fabric for your backing (lengthwise) along with a 63″ x 63″ piece of batting. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

About 13-7/8 yards of fabric is included in this kit along with the pattern.
