Quilt Kit – Picnic – 51″ X 68″ Happy Day Farm Lap Quilt – Top & Binding

A simple, on point Fat Quarter pattern in Crib, Lap, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King size. The blocks are traditionally pieced, and have a woven effect when sewn together. This kit is packaged for the lap size measuring 51″ x 68″. The FQ bundle has all the fabrics shown in Picture 3 including the 24″ x 44″ panel (see Picture 6 for larger image) which is not used in the quilt. Use your favorite method to construct one or more pillows using the Farm Panel and purchase additional yardage as needed for details shown such as ruffles, fabric covered cording and/or backing.

FABRIC: Happy Day Farm was designed by Dan DiPaolo for Clothworks. Dan’s inspiration for this collection comes from the days spent on his farm in Burlington, Wisconsin.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash warm , do not bleach, tumble dry, remove promptly.

Fabrics printed in South Korea.

The overall finished size of this lap quilt as shown in picture 1 is 51″ x 68″.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Picnic pattern and instructions designed by Cluck Cluck Sew along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Happy Day Farm and American Made Brand Solids collections by Clothworks. Pictures 2 thru 5 show the pattern and fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit!

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

The pattern recommends 3-1/2 yards of fabric for your backing along with a 59″ x 76″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a one way design or for pattern matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.
