Quilt Kit – Just Dandy – 82″ X 82″ Tiny Beasts & True Colors By Tula Pink Quilt – Top & Binding

The Just Dandy quilt project uses foundation paper piecing for the dandelions with bias applique for the stems and has curved seams.

FABRIC: Tiny Beasts and the new addition to True Colors, the Tiny Coordinates are designed independently but definitely intended to work together. Playing with a smaller scale the Tiny Beast collection focuses on backyard animals and what they might be up to when we are not looking.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold normal cycle with light colors, do not bleach, tumble dry low, use warm iron.

Fabrics printed in Korea.

The overall finished size of this quilt as shown in picture 1 is 82-3/8″ x 82-3/8″ .

The kit contains a FREE copy of the Just Dandy pattern/instructions designed by Stacey Day along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Tiny Beasts and True Colors collections designed by Tula Pink for Free Spirit Fabrics. Pictures 2 and 3 show all 42 different fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Intermediate (Foundation paper piecing, curved seams and bias applique)

Additional supplies not included in this kit:
* Matching thread for the top stitching of the green stems
* 1/2″ bias tape maker for making the stems
* Lightweight copy paper, newsprint or vellum for copying the foundation pattern templates
* Template plastic for making template 6 which is the curved seam guide
* Backing fabric and batting

The pattern recommends 7-7/8 yards of fabric for your backing assuming a 44/45″ width or 2-3/4 yards if using a 108″ backing option along with a 91″ x 91″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

About 17-1/3 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
