Quilt Kit – It Takes A Village – 50″ X 62″ Meet Me In The Forest Block Quilt – Top & Binding

This 50″ x 62″ children’s lap quilt uses an adorable woodland block panel from the fabric line “Meet Me in the Forest” by Alicia Dujets for Michael Miller Fabrics. This fabric is so stinking cute! Perfect for your outdoor loving little one.

FABRIC: Woodland creatures and wildflowers were the inspiration for the newest collection by Alicia Jacobs Dujets, Meet Me In The Forest. The line wouldn’t have been complete without wild mushrooms and smiling sunshines, beaming down over the cute creatures that have human-like personalities. They’re easy to adore as they read books, fish for friends, and dream of snacks as they snuggle up and nap. Take a walk on the wild side and meet these cute new friends in the forest.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold with like colors, do not use chlorine bleach, tumble dry low setting, remove promptly, use warm iron if necessary.

The overall finished size of this throw quilt as shown in picture 1 is 50″ x 62″.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the It Takes a Village pattern and instructions by Coach House Designs along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Meet Me in the Forest collection designed by Alicia Jacobs Dujets for Michael Miller Fabrics. Pictures 2 thru 9 show the pattern and fabrics included in the kit. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner (traditionally pieced)

3-1/4 yards of fabric is recommended for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width along with a 58″ x 70″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

Over 5-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
