Quilt Kit – Greener Pastures – 64″ X 80″ Country Farm Theme Quilt – Top & Binding

This quilt is made up of framed blocks and star blocks. The traditional fabric colors and design of the pattern makes for a beautiful country or farm themed quilt. However, I feel something is missing…the chickens! Neither of the chicken prints from this collection are used in the quilt top. All three of the pig fabrics are used and the cow print is used repeatedly in the quilt. So, in case you agree with me, I have included an additional 3/8 yard of the gray chicken fabric to this kit (see picture 10 in the listing). Rather than exchange a fabric for the chickens, I’m including the extra piece so you can decide if and/or where you want to use it in your quilt.

FABRIC: An ensemble from Dan Morris that includes a countryside scene where barns, animals, and farm images work seamlessly together. Offered in traditional folk-art colors or the trendy modern farmhouse chic gray and white palette. Ideal for kitchen and home decorating or a country themed quilt.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold normal cycle with like colors, use non-chlorine bleach when needed, tumble dry medium, remove promptly, use warm iron.

Fabrics printed in Pakistan.

The overall finished size of this quilt as shown in picture 1 is 64″ x 80″ .

The kit contains a FREE copy of the pattern/instructions designed by Wendy Sheppard for Quilting Treasures along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Greener Pastures and Quilting Illusions collections by Quilting Treasures. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the fabrics included in the kit. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

5 yards of fabric is recommended for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width along with a 72″ x 88″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

About 9-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
