Quilt Kit – Field Of Stars – 53″ X 53″ Giraffe Safari Block Panel Quilt – Top & Binding

Two 18″ pieced blocks and two 18″ panel blocks set 2 across and 2 down with 1″, 2″, 1″ and 4″ borders.

FABRIC: This unique ensemble depicts nature’s giants against a stunning, colorful sunset sky. Tossed patches, animal prints, geometrics and a sky blender complete the grouping to create projects that will take you on safari adventure. Carol Cavalaris

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold normal cycle with like colors, use non-chlorine bleach when needed, tumble dry medium, remove promptly, use warm iron if necessary.

Fabrics printed in Pakistan.

The overall finished size of this block quilt as shown in picture 1 is 53″ x 53″.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the the Field of Stars pattern and instructions designed by Brenda Plaster of Spool & Bobbin Quilting along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. We carry several coordinating fabrics that can be purchased and shipped with your kit for your backing.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Giraffe Safari designed by Carol Cavalaris and Rapture collections by Quilting Treasures. Pictures 2 thru 7 show fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit!

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

The pattern recommends 3-1/2 yards of a coordinating 44/45″ wide fabric for your backing along with a 61″ x 61″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

Over 4-1/2 yards of fabric is included in this kit along with the pattern.
