Quilt Kit – Blissful – 93″ X 93″ Floral Block Queen Size Quilt – Top & Binding

The queen size quilt project for “Blissful” measures 93″ square with an on-point layout of 12″ blocks separated by pieced 6″ wide sashing. It also features four panel squares and a repeating stripe border, fussy-cut so the flowers “hug” the outer edge. There are NO templates and wherever possible, the pattern uses stitch/flip shortcut methods for making flying geese and square-in-square units making this quilt achievable by confident beginners.

FABRIC: The Blissful fabric collection from the art of Danielle Leone features softly colored flowers and paisleys on rich navy backgrounds with white, teal, sea glass aqua, peach, green and light grays.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold gentle cycle, tumble dry low gentle cycle, do not use bleach, fabric softener not recommended.

Fabric printed in Korea.

The kit contains a FREE copy of the Blissful pattern/instructions by Wilmington Prints along with enough fabric to complete the queen size quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately. Fabric Utopia carries several coordinates from the collection that can be purchased for your backing.

The overall finished size of this quilt as pictured is 93″x 93″.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Blissful collection designed by Danielle Leone for Wilmington Prints. Picture 2 shows all the fabrics used in this quilt kit with some of them shown in pictures 3 thru 9 as larger images. Picture 10 shows a coordinating pillow sham kit that is available from Fabric Utopia in a separate listing. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

The pattern recommends 8-5/8 yards of fabric for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width fabric or 3 yards if using a 108″ backing along with a 101″ x 101″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

Over 19 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
