Quilt Kit – Bijou Wonder – 55″ x 71″ Geo Sampler Block Throw Quilt (Top & Binding)

This listing is for the quilt kit version of the Bijou Wonder quilt project, and NOT the block of the month! This is a fun block sampler quilt with unique block borders giving it a modern look. Block size is 16″. No special rulers or supplies are required other than what quilters usually have on hand.

FABRIC: The fabrics used in this quilt are by Blank Quilting and include select fabrics from the Lower the Volume collection (includes novelty designs on a white background), the Chameleon collection (a basic that features a unique texture that goes from fern foliage to reptile skin), and Jotdot (basic tonal dot fabric).

Colors include white, gray, blues, turquoise, purples, pink, yellow and orange.

The kit contains a printed color copy of the Bijou Wonder quilt pattern/instructions designed by Denise Russell for Blank Quilting along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

The overall finished size of this throw quilt as pictured is 55″ x 71″.

This kit includes all the fabrics required for the quilt top and binding as shown in the first picture excluding the backing. There are no substituted fabrics in this kit. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the fabrics that are included in the kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner (standard machine sewing)

Pattern recommends 3-5/8 yards of fabric for your backing assuming a 44/45″ width or 1-3/4 yards if using a 108″ option along with an 63″ x 79″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. You can purchase coordinating fabric from the collection for your backing if you desire, and it will be shipped with your kit.

Over 8-5/8 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the color pattern.
