Quilt Kit – Bear Hugs – 70″ X 78″ Starry Nights Throw Quilt – Top & Binding

Full of wild magic, this quilt captures the awesome beauty in our world. The focus panel is offset with a column of bear blocks followed by multiple strip borders.

FABRIC: The Starry Nights collection by Hoffman Fabrics features a beautiful mountain landscape created in a watercolor style with a full moon illuminating the paths of various wildlife such as bears and eagles.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash delicate cycle, tumble dry low temperature, use cool iron.

Fabrics made in Korea and batik fabric made in Indonesia.

The overall finished size of this quilt as seen in picture 1 is 70″ x 78″.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Bear Hugs pattern and instructions designed by Karen Schindler of The Fabric Addict along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Starry Nights, 24/7 Solids, 24/7 Linen and Bali Batik Dots collections by Hoffman Fabrics. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the pattern and fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit!

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

The pattern recommends 4-1/4 yards of fabric for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width or 2-1/4 yards if using a 108″ wide backing along with an 78″ x 86″ piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

About 9-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. NOTE: FABRICS IN THIS KIT ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY ORGANIZE OR MARK THEM USING YOUR FAVORITE METHOD!
