Quilt Kit – Winter Solitude – 42″ x 58″ Snowy Owl Panel Quilt (includes fabric for top of quilt & binding) – AAFQK-449

Frame this peaceful Snowy Owl panel quilt using traditionally pieced blocks for a more elaborate border.

The overall finished size of this quilt as seen in Picture 1 is 42″ x 58″.

NOTE: The smaller quilt version shown at the bottom of the pattern in Picture 2 is also available as a kit from Fabric Utopia, but is not included in this kit!

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Winter Solitude pattern/instructions designed by Daphne Greig of Patchworks Studio along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Snowy Owl collection designed by Jerry Gadamus for Northcott Fabrics. Pictures 2 thru 6 show the pattern and fabrics included in this kit. There are no substituted fabrics in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner.

1-7/8 yards of fabric is recommended for the backing assuming a 44/45″ width along with a 50″ x 66″ piece of batting.

A little over 4-1/8 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern/instructions.
