Large handbags are in right now, but you will NOT find this bag anywhere else. The problem with most large bags is lack of pockets and organization making it impossible to find what you are looking for. I miss so many calls because I can?t find my cell phone in time to answer it. My phone along with my keys always disappear into that mystical black hole located somewhere at the bottom. I?ve designed this new modified hobo style handbag to eliminate this problem.
The Sandra measures 19 inches wide by 21 inches high. The handles are 1.75 inches wide by 23 inches in length creating an 11 inch drop. The exterior is machine quilted by me using cotton fabric, polyester batting and muslin backing. The quilting pattern is a multi sized square pattern sewn on a 45 degree angle. The bag you are looking at is made from a brown and pink large butterfly and ladybug pattern
There are two (2) new features added to this design. One is the custom made matching fabric 1/8 inch cording used on all exterior seams. Even the handles include cording on both edges. I think this adds that little extra touch of style and class. The other new feature is the gathered horizontal sash added to the top front band. This sash is secured with a 1.75 inch elegantly carved button.
